  1. Printing another picture than it's in the software

The letter outline was made with a pen stroke, and either the stroke has no ends or the letter has an unclosed vector loop or a vector with the handles turned backwards. In Illustrator, it is correcting the view for this error, so you can't see it.
  2. Best way to attach to stone

Thanks everyone. We used the drop in anchors with 3/8"x3" lags, and the cables going to the old attachments up above. The hanging bracket is the storebought unit that Grimco and other suppliers carry. To mount it over the decorative stone ledge I had a 1/4" steel bracket made that attaches to...
  3. Best way to attach to stone

We went out and did the sign installation today. Went pretty smoothly and turned out well.
  4. Any walldogs out there?

That might be quite the event down here at the lake.
  5. Pole Banner Pricing

Last time we did pole banners they were 18"x48" double sided. They cost us $32.40 each and we charged $58 each. They were also all alike and we charged separately for designing them. Despite the fact that they are claiming they might order 400 of them, this is not a quantity order. If they get...
  6. Funny sign

Saw this on social media. Purposeful?
  7. Any walldogs out there?

I know how to do it. But I don't want to do it myself. I'm looking for someone who does it somewhat regularly.
  8. Any walldogs out there?

It's not coated. What I meant was it's not rigid, and you can easily push it in and out. It feels like thin steel or aluminum. Smooshy like the side of an old mobile home.
  9. Any walldogs out there?

I don't think I want to be heating and rolling a 12'x60' restaurant name into that textured aluminum.
  10. Any walldogs out there?

The owner thought the wall was stucco. But when I got up there to measure it, it's clearly thin stamped metal with a pebble grain, and it is "smooshy" when you push on it. It's not stucco like the rest of the building. I don't want to mess up the fridge/freezer or do anything that could be...
  11. Any walldogs out there?

It would be kind of fun to do. I haven't painted anything like this since I started out in signs over 30 years ago. The company I worked for then has been gone over 15 years. I don't own any of the equipment I would need, and I don't have paints and brushes and all the stuff you need for that...
  12. Best way to attach to stone

Thanks for the confirmation everyone. I was intending to use the wedge (drop-in) anchors, but the fact that they hardly carry any of them at the hardware store and when I was trying to research best practices, everyone seems to be saying to use screws directly into the stone was why I came to...
  13. Best way to attach to stone

Pretty sure it's real stone. Old, too.
  14. Best way to attach to stone

Yes, those. I used to hear them called lead anchors, but now all the hardware stores call them drop in anchors.
  15. Best way to attach to stone

Trying to decide how I'm going to hang a sign bracket on a building made of limestone block. The sign that was taken down was also hung from a projecting pole (an electric sign much larger than what we are hanging), and was attached with brackets screwed to drop-in anchors (what people used to...
  16. Any walldogs out there?

Is there anyone around still doing this? Anyone near Lake of the Ozarks who'd be willing to do a wall painted sign?
  17. Looking for best prices aluminum sign blanks in the US

    He's looking for .025". Not .25".
  18. Looking for best prices aluminum sign blanks in the US

.65mm converts to .025". Although you can find unpainted sheet stock that thickness, and even precut pieces in that thickness, I am not sure anyone has it painted white.
  19. panel size

Replacing the face with acrylic isn't going to be so easy. The channel is wide to accept the corrugated face. A piece of 3/16" acrylic is going to flop around like a fish.
  20. Font Help Please

There is no font of that. It's letters from the movie Toy Story, which are available as .svg file and .png file alphabets. The font is based on Gill Sans Ultra Wide. But there are variant letters not in the font.
