While I'm at it, the Panorama One perf from Continental is priced very aggressively. We sell the 80/20, 70/30, and 60/40 rolls of 54"x164' for only $391.00. Lately that seems to match the price of other brands' 100 foot rolls.

Try Retac from Drytac. It is stocked in Richmond, too. Retac is a 6mil film with no stretch (semi-rigid). Comes in a smooth, Canvas, Linen, and Sand texture. The textures hide the imperfections in the wall and you wouldn't laminate them. best of all, if the wall is a well primed and painted...

Try the Performance Paper. Inexpensive and dries instantly. It isn't the typical shiny paper..more of a satin look. I move about 300 rolls a month of this out of my Cleveland warehouse. I believe Treck Hall sells it.

What are you primarily producing? I focus on selling films which are more profitable than just banner and adhesive vinyl on a board.....as I say all the time, I try to find films which are not commodity films where both of us can make some money. I'm in Chicago all the time...maybe we can meet...

I agree with Pete....run it reverse on a clear and then back it with VinylEfx which has clear adhesive and will give you a silver look. Expensive, though. Why not print on the silver VinylEFX outdoor durable film and put it on the outside of the window?

I would think so. There's likely no harm in trying to print on it to see if you get any adhesion. Plotting it should represent no issue. I've not worked with it, but judging by the specs, the only unique aspect is that it is pretty thick at nearly 8mils so you'll have to get your blade force...

I believe that is more of a screen print vinyl than a solvent-printable vinyl.

If the ribbon cables weren't put in the exact same order then you likely instantly fried the heads. Roland usually stands behind their heads but this might set off some tech's radar. Where did you buy the heads? I'd go back to them and see if they can get them covered under warranty.

While someone may have had a bad experience with roland (tech there every other month) I'd disagree. We sell Rolands (I can't sell to you in Texas) and they are very reliable. They have the best warranty in the business and cover their print heads. Their new expanded color gamut is amazing...

Cast isn't going to make your graphic last longer....you can use a polymeric calendared vinyl and get 7 year performance. Keep in mind that 7 years (whether cast or calendared) is how long the FILM will perform before the FILM starts to yellow/crack/degrade. The real issue is how long your ink...
