  3. HP R1000 prints scratches very easily....Need Help

Lots of good answers, fought this for a while until creating a profile for the 2nd side with lower temp and slightly less vac. Always thought 2nd side was scratching until we realized that what was really happening was that the ink on the belt was heating and pulling ink off of side A, much...

In agreement with the no responses, we had less than desirable results with that combo.
  5. Canon Colorado 1650 FEEDBACK

Thx for posting these, have you guys done much with deep recesses? Seems much of what I'm seeing is "non-complex" curves, any known issues for you guys with laminating this ink set? Thx again!
  6. Canon Colorado 1650 FEEDBACK

We haven't seen output from the Epson Rs yet but plan to submit some files including a few Reds. Thant's the general consensus I've gotten vs only a few positives. That's the plan! I would think that Cannon would have a lot of decent sized samples available with the most common wrap film/lam...
  7. Canon Colorado 1650 FEEDBACK

Doing my research on the 1650 and wishing I was finding a lot more encouraging information on using the 1650 for SAV for wraps. The lions share of our work is vehicle graphics/wraps bit also do a good bit of decal and banner work, we wrap a lot of Promaster/Transit vans so deep recesses are very...

  9. Has anyone used non-PVC printable vinyl to make stickers or decals?

Yeah that’s interesting, like I said we’ve printed hundreds of rolls of LX480 without experiencing that and I’d bet we left the door open more that once! Definitely had a major IJ35C shtank issue that was isolated to a converter I believe but just never experienced it w LX480, luck of the draw...
  10. Has anyone used non-PVC printable vinyl to make stickers or decals?

Just curious which particular series you’re referring to. We’ve run hundreds of rolls of LX480 (Not suggesting using for decals) on our 570s and haven’t experienced the stink you mentioned. We did experience it with a certain run of 35C a couple years back but that’s not PVC free anyways.

  17. Reflective Vinyl

Technically 780 isn’t meant to be contour cut and applied with face tape. We use it a bit for reflective wraps. For that application I’d likely use 680 or Orafol 5600 I think it is?
  18. Pfffft Bring It

Lil bit more today, 4-8 no biggie.
  19. New Plotter - FC9000 or something else?

We run 2 of these with no real accuracy issues outside of occasionally on IJ680CR that might be a bit long (therefore heavy) but slowing the velocity usually fixes that. Running HP 570s thru Onyx on 3M. Do you step your job in Onyx or are you send a stepped one up to Onyx? We send a 1up and...
