Given your question your customer wants vinyl applied to the wall.
Corrugated metal wall folks…..
1. yes laminate. It will make the application a little easier.
2. use cast not calandered.
3. You will have to start with the “high” spot then feed it down into the channel then back up to...
Take piece of masking tape (about 1” long). Bring your lamination to the take up real with the lamination facing out. Tape the the leading edge to your take up reel. 1 piece in the middle is all you need. Make 1-2 revolutions on the take up reel. Score the lamination. Pull back the...
Cost of your materials x your markup.
Pretty straight forward.
However $500(ish) each is reasonable given your process. Your material cost should be in the $175 - $200 range for each panel.
Your price will be different that mine. As you said, you work out of your home where as I have my shop...

$400-$450 per vehicle assuming (2) decals at that size per vehicle.
3M / Avery cast wrap vinyl with lam.
Installed at your shop. Add $$$ if travel.
Should take 2 guys no more than an hour to install.
Yes cast cost more and calandered but in this case the difference in cost might $20-$30.
Not worth it to me. Just price it accordingly…..
We don’t do the print and mount much in my shop. All flatbed printed and then a cast lam if needed.
Sounds like someone used calandered vinyl for an exterior project.
Cast my friends, CAST! ALWAYS!
With cast SDL you should have no problem if install on the board correctly.
Why can’t some people get this through their thick skulls! I’m tired of seeing/hearing about this stuff. In the...
I’d like to know what sent Gino in the “rant”…..
Not that he is wrong in any way. A lot of people think rules/regulations/etc don’t apply to them or the just say screw it…..
