half the time I'm always looking at an employee and saying gee wouldn't it be great to be an employee leave work and you leave it there. Working for yourself is a lifestyle choice.
Alright that settles it next time I need some vector work I'm trying this guy out. I keep on toying with the idea of using this guy but always flake out and worry that it will be a bad experience.
If I had to hit the ground running and couldn't change a thing I would go with yours. The left one as everyone else has said the universe is way to dark. I do think yours is fragmented with the planet and your type. Almost two different pieces.
Both are worthy if you played with them a tiny bit.
When I go to my local sign shop I usually grab whatever I can like a kid in a candy store. Mostly the gadgets gather dust.
This last time I grabbed a lift stick by gap.. Didn't think much of it but its way better than using a exacto knife...
I find it funny when I do a kick *** sign and its pro. I always look at and say geez could have been vinyl. Thats a cop out , wont last as long and the vibrancy wouldn't be there.
The sign looks great and its good to hear you did it on your own time, always have aspirations of doing things like...
I suppose graphic design isn't the biggest thing but is something I always could use more knowledge on as with everything else.
For a man who knows nothing knows the most.
I would love to have more skills at illustrator.
If graphic design was available I would send him into that...
I like the concept. I have trouble with doing designs and then not wanting them at all. I have been toying with a fee if they don't go with the design to re-coop the design work.
Ok so I tried the at60 I sort of jumped the gun and practically bought a life time supply. Now I'm thinking maybe medium would of worked?
I love the way it comes off when the vinyls on the surface you want almost fall off, that part is perfect... However it struggles to keep the counters of the...
Well I'm going to try rtape "at60" that's the clear pre mask low tack. Any body use that stuff? I have real doubts about this. I'm thinking I'll still have to do my pre stick system. I just did it again ( the pre stick system) and it worked but it takes a lot longer to apply the pre mask. I...
Since I only paint and have done very complicated graphic ads and also basic ads. That eliminates that some designs are to complicated to be painted . However I believe it comes down to the price, even if something can be painted it generally is never cheaper even if the client would have to...
I was thinking about putting a dusting of baby powder on the vinyl or something like that before putting the transfer tape on . I know it sound kinda dum / risky but might work.
The water trick sonds viable but paint and water dont mix to well generally you want dry surface. I guess if careful...
Oh yeah I forgot to mention is mainly exterior surfaces that I'm using the vinyl for, mainly brick but other surfaces as well. I do have a paint mask version but doesn't stick to the wall very good.
For certain type of industries email marketing with follow up calls have worked for me. But with niche markets I find you cant beat seo. SEO is long term but in this day and age you cant go wrong.
Hello
I have been using vinyl for paint mask / paint stencils. I use mactac vinyl mainly use the 5 year permanent vinyl, rarely do I use the mactac paint mask version because its just doesn't stick enough . The permanent stuff works fine and its removes easily enough after. Ideally I would do...
