Wow. That is totally the opposite of my experience. Can't really blame the company for damage in shipping.
Are you using the Epson Edge Print RIP? I ditched that as soon as Caldera got me the driver. I only used Edge Print for about a month. I did not care for that at all. With the profiles I...
I just got my new Mac Studio with the M1 Ultra and it is awesome!! I have been all Mac for the past 10+ years, other than a few PC's I have to have for specific programs to run certain equipment.
On the latest CC version anyways, you can right click with the image selected and choose "simplify". It does a decent job of reducing the number of nodes. I have the Astute plugins, which have several helpful tools too.
It plugs in the same as any other module. I haven't had any issues with mine being in the way loading boards. I have some other routing mats that I like WAY better. I will send you info on those.
The "module" that plugs in would be the same. You would just need a longer hose and wiring if you got one for a F1612. If I was in your position that is what I would do if they didn't make the F1330 one anymore.
The spindle is the same, you would just need a different hose setup. As yours would need a longer house. So just getting my spindle, won't get you running. You would need to get the assembly from Summa first. I like have multiples for both multi bit jobs and just to have a back up.
The HF Router is that ridiculously overpriced! I have the standard router and route ACM all day without any issues! There is no way I would pay that much for it. I remember finding that Sykotec spindle they use for that and it was only like $3k. haha
I have done small stuff with a gold metallic using the silver in my Epson S80. A large wall mural would be expensive and that inks NOT cheap and it is VERY slow to print.
What are you looking to print? Do you want crazy speed or is your goal better quality? Do you need white/varnish?
I too would call a SwissQ my dream printer! But since that was out of my budget right now I looked at others. I ended up with the Epson V7000 as out of all of the print samples I...
Don't waste your time doing the cleaning with the cleaning cartridges. I had no luck with that back when I had mine. Had techs tell me all that does is loosen up the gunk in the lines/tanks and try to flush it out through your heads.
