Not always true. It depends on the temperature and the humidity of the facility. I have left some panels coated over the weekend (in the summer) to come in Monday morning and they are still way too sticky to handle. Allow yourself ample drying time when using oil base paints.

We use MDO all the time. We print, mount and install to 3/4" primed MDO. Never had any issues. These are typically your construction/job site signs, etc. We would never sell this as a permanent sign, but is great for 2-3 year durability.

We produce a lot of these production boards for a two clients of ours. We print on vinyl and overlaminate it with dry erase. We laminate the decal to 24 guage steele that is then glued to high grade plywood. We frame the edges, crate it, ship and then bill it. Very profitable.
