Glad to hear that somebody has had some success with the take up bar. I will mention this to our installer on Monday and hopefully this will eliminate the issue from the get go. I don't for see us printing rolls at a time, but would like the peace of mind when we do.

Definitely a sweet deal. Still waiting to have ours installed through advantage, but I can say that they have been a joy to work with this far. We have the printer sitting in our shop waiting for set up next week and can't wait. I will post more details as they unfold.

We bought ours in a package deal with a plotter, rip, inks, installation and warranty so it would be hard to nail down the exact price we paid for the printer. $17,800 sounds like a pretty good deal, but like royster was saying, I would do some heavy researching to see what epson says about it...

We screen print these on .055 polyethelene and sell them in dozens. Our price is $4.50 each including hardware, but we make a healthy margin because of the quantity we print. I bet on average we print 100-200 a week. It is mostly just filler work between large jobs.
