  1. Need Help In mounting acrylic letters to concrete wall

VHB tape and silicone will work just fine. If you use silicone, use GE Silicone II or upgrade to Lexel - both available at Home Depot. I would just add a clause in my quote that you are not responsible if the paint fails to adhere to the wall. If painted correctly, the paint should be a...
  2. Molded Plastic Faces

Yep, Faces or Master Signs up here in Dallas.
  3. My new method of installing post and panel signs...

I used to, but it seems to cost more time than it's worth. The soil/clay just sticks to it and you spend more time removing the clay from the post hole digger than from the hole. I just remove it by hand, doesn't take too long. It's around $850 new but I got one lays at the wrong price for...
  4. My new method of installing post and panel signs...

Which Hilti do you have? It sure beats a digging bar and sharp shooter!
  5. My new method of installing post and panel signs...

The pictures are of a test hole dug in the yard and of the bit. Video is of a V-shaped post & panel sign installed on Friday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgcxGYV3ab4
  6. Is there metal lettering that is harder to steal?

I agree with nutting the letters from the back if that's an option. If it's not, try using Lexel and a LOT of it. The stuff is super stretchy and it makes removing signs/letters a lot more difficult than using silicone. But s mentioned - anything can be stolen if the person wants it bad enough.
  7. Seeking source for these fabricated stainless letters

Steel Art... Ask for Matt, tell him I referred you.
  8. Where can I order extra wide aluminum?

If memory serves me, you won't find anyone that stocks any pre-finish longer than 12'. Eastern will custom cut it for you for a fee.
  9. My new website

I think it looks really good, Craig. I agree with the others about hand-painting the name - that would look good on there.
  10. Vinyl not sticking to drywall

Yeah, that's for installing on Low-VOC paint.
  11. Aluminum Wall Frame

Sorry, wrote that on the run. I don't know of any vendors that sell kits like that. They may exist, but you could knock that out pretty quickly.
  12. Aluminum Wall Frame

2" square aluminum tube, miter & weld the corners. ¾" aluminum angle attached with VHB tape to the inside surface of the tubing. .125" aluminum face attaches to the aluminum angle with VHB tape. Rivnuts on the back side of the aluminum tube to accommodate ¼" studs. Stud-mount & silicone unit as...
  13. Please help with backlit sign materials!

I'm guessing a 36"h awning and a 48" x 60" cabinet. 48" is further than I would want to lean over a roof. The trickiest part would be putting the bottom screws back in. :)
  14. Moze & WildWestDesigns

I don't know where they get their information from. My preferred alias is easily "Komozo Dragon".
  15. Please help with backlit sign materials!

True, I was just thinking that some cabinets only have end retainers and top may not be removable.
  16. Moze & WildWestDesigns

Come on, John - I'm not that unprepared that I have to leave the site for bits! :)
  17. Please help with backlit sign materials!

Can you reach it over the awning?
  18. Nix color sensor - currently useless....sigh.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. Haven't even bothered to unbox mine due to all of the negative comments (and a lack of time). The Kickstarter page says there's an Android app. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nixsensor/nix-color-sensor
