That sounds perfect! If your wife struggles with teaching a subject or the kids do with learning, they still have the teachers to fall back on. And there's still structure with attending school and social interaction. I always thought the social interaction part was the biggest thing...
It's too bad about your friends kids. I wish there was some kind of safety net to catch these fallen kids and make sure they are up to par with the state standards. Maybe there is now? Not sure.
We found out during the covid shutdown that homeschooling wasn't for us. Too many incidents of bad...
The entire district is required to go through equity training so this is an exercise all kids are required to do. I think they are required to do 6 total lessons this school year. It's required by the state because we had an incident and this is what was agreed on with the superintendent.
My sons latest assignment consisted of completing a "Get to Know Me" wheel. The wheels were not shared with the class and you have the option of sharing in your talking circle what you want others to know about you - but you have to hand it into the teacher so they can read it.
You have to...
The last place I worked it was required that you have a degree to get hired for basic office work. I had one in a non-related field so I got hired.
My son is graduating with a degree in high performance motor sports but is starting a landscape company . My youngest...he's going to...
I'm a little less than Gino's pricing not including travel time. I would calculate this for one installer and if you need to bring a helper then it comes out of your pocket. And there's nothing wrong with that! You need to learn and there's a cost to that.
I don't charge for travel if it's...
My BF's oldest sons - one dropped out of high school, he's very street smart but not book smart. He is a very good welder. The middle child...ah...he DID graduate but was in "special" classes because of ADHD. He could not count his graduation money, I had to do it. He can barely read or write...
I needed a degree to do a job that could have been done by a monkey a few years ago. Now my BF's 2 kids are welders with no degrees...one didn't even graduate high school.
If only I was a young male now, I could work an infinite amount of hours doing random physical things and make a crap load...
That's awesome!!!! I love this, kids sure make us change for the best!
Stacey #2 paid for the jersey. I donated the fathead. So far this year she is the 3rd parent to approach me to pay for someone else's stuff. One kids mom passed away a few months ago and dad is a bit of a drinker. Not sure...
The mother showed up. She had a purple jersey on so Stacey #2 didn't bother giving her that one - problem averted.
The fathead just went in the student section along with the other ones and then the kids gave them to the players at the end of the night.
Small schools suck for things like...
As much as all of us complain about our customers and people trying to get something for nothing, there are others that make up for them.
Point in case. My friend Stacey (known as Stacey #2 in town via my son and now that's just her name LOL) just called me about a young man on our senior...
Ha ha! If only I could stay home all day and do what I wanted to do....it would include chores until noon then sipping cocktails while dreaming about the UPS guy facetiming Boudica...ah...the fun we would have!
You always feel better about yourself when you are dressed nicely and perhaps do a better job at work. They say the same about chewing gum, it gives you confidence. I find this to be true.
If you hover over the photos it says, "Early vinyl wrapper" and "Early sign painter".
My great grandfather started his "vinyl wrapping" business in 1903...LOL
I would definitely get some insurance. If you are going to be lettering racecars then that will expand to other vehicles and it's super easy to accidently scratch a vehicle. Insurance is very reasonable for this trade if you are just a small shop. It should include garage keepers as well if you...
We had a Vietnamese restaurant near my dads business when I was little kid and it got shut down for having some kind of animal carcass clogging the basement drains. I once had chicken stir fry with work people because I had to, nothing else LOL
I'm more of a Mexican food lover. I will eat...
Is the orange printed or is that cheap fluorescent vinyl?
Is the white a regular cut vinyl? It looks like it's still OK unless the lower right side of the G is peeling also? Hard to tell from the pic.
When did you apply this...it looks like the orange is fading around the edges.
