ok there were some head strikes in the white areas. they are faint dotted lines. When I look close on the drips (as I call them) they are navy blue with teal blue in the middle. Almost like the ink soaked in, Faded in the center of the drips. I will be looking over the heads. I can start...

those are the only spots. Everything else looks fine. uhg. Be patient with me.

Strange drips on banner. This material came with our sp-540v. Labeled as EDB-G 48"x40 yd Gloss White from Aspire emerald Digital. Before printing I selected Generic Banner profile. I dont know if thats the problem. I am still scratching my head when it comes to selecting a profile before...

I've made more money with that 33 font package from signfonts. I wonder if there are any other package deals out there that give as much oomf for the money?

Ok I found a thread that ran me through. Thanks for your help. After a medium clean and a couple test prints, the colors look better. also the thread said to print something everyday to maintain the printer

OK I'll search ink contamination.... How do you fix that?

We have had this printer a short time, and I am still clueless. Roland sp-540v. Wont the printer tell me if it were out of ink? How come 100 cyan looks greenish black? And 20 % black has a pink hue? Clueless.... What search terms would i use to find threads that cover this....? Any help appreciated
