I have been running trial and error to figure our an origin issue and I think it may be the encoder strip. I have read where some have tried to turn it upside down with luck but if that does not work does anyone know of a reliable source for these that does not cost $1000.00 bucks? Thanks

Hello, I have 3 jf 1631 mimaki flatbed printers and I was wondering if there was a (simple) way to change the currents lamps, over to led lamps. Has anyone tried this or hear of someone doing this? My printers are all 2007 and 2008 units. Thanks for you expert advise. Jay

Hi I have 3 mimaki jf 1631 units. I have bought them all used and they are all great workhorses but being that they were used and are now almost 7 years old I am thinking about a newer or new machine, Right now I am eyeing the CET Xpress 1000. Either a 2012 or 2013. Would love to here...

We currently have 3 and for the most part have been happy. There is a good deal of maintenance that goes with them but that is to be expected. what price range are you in? We may be moving into another printer soon and might let one go for less.
