ahhh OK I reloaded that pallet and now the colour is showing up...it asked before it opened if I wanted to reset the current version I did have and I responded yes. Maybe because I wanted to see the cmyk values of that spot colour it changed it, even though I edit undid it, it must still hold...

OK so how is the colour on the bottom pallet for selecting the colour shape but absent from the gradient selection. I will try and reset it, but just makes no sense. I had to print the job using the closest I could find, which makes me very disapointed

I guess i can but when I change the colour to cmyk it never prints the same..... I thought for a moment, maybe because I have the shape in that colour it is somewhere else on the chart...maybe at the beginning or at the end, but no it just does not exist which makes absolutely no sense to me

I am trying to create a gradient to match a specific vinyl that is being cut and applied to a sign.. I found a great colour match by printing 720 x 1440 pantone 2728c, which I found in my colour bar at the bottom of my screen. Now when I go in and try to create the gradient I hit the advanced...

You mean there is better stuff than 3m 280 reflective? NOT!!! For me 3M costs more but the processing time is so much faster....always weeds great...worth every cent

If I had ordered a 50 yard roll maybe I put up with a splice...but seven yards? and the splice was at the 27" mark from the front of the roll? I assumed I had extra material at the end, but NO!! Good thing I had a couple yards in stock.... Reflective is one of the priciest vinyls around so...

I ordered 7 yards of 15" reflective yellow vinyl to be run on my Edge. I just loaded it and within the first 30", I find this!! I can only hope they calculated the 7 yards after the seam.

Just a 3ml laminate for decals that are used on construction helmuts for a short term... They need to put info on them on site. I don't really think it is an issue as I find only when you rub hard the oils in your fingers can cause the ink to spread or ghost... I offered the client clear strips...

I'm a righty so right to left on a downward angle. I find on different days, be it, humidity, temperature or whatever that vinyl can act differently, even off the same roll. Most of the times I can weed effortlessly and then there are times when every letter gives me cause for quitting this...

Tested Sharpies and after 2 or 3 hours I can still get them to smudge.... I don't know if there is anything that can be used...any one have experience with this?

Well this 60 x 120 item on Grimco's website, says the flutes run along the 60" side, but when i call they don't think so. I am waiting for someone to go in the warehouse and find out.... as to using plexi or any plastic...the piece needs to bend 90 degrees on the corners and the coro sample I...

steamer!!! I had to remove a pile of foam double sided tape on a display we had screwed up and the steamer made it so easy.

...just curious...that 1 part alcohol is basically a solvent which breaks down the adhesive....would that not be of concern over the long term life of the vinyl? I know rapid tac has alcohol in it but I don't think really that much....

Called Grimco again and was told that they do not carry anything with flutes going the 60 either. You sure it was Grimco?

What I would like to know is how do you explain in understandable terms why the logo looks good on the computer screen, but really is the size of a postage stamp.... how does the screen make it look so high res and our printers can't? I always feel like they think I am lying to them to try...
