I've never used heat on the lam personally.

Set up only detects the substrate, once you switch to Cut only in the rip and hit print it will look for the marks. I usually always put my substrate to the same spot and Base Point. Remember to leave enough media on the tail end of your image before you cut the sheet so that the it will feed...

What do you lam with and at what pressure? We use a lot of 3220 with good results.

I usually set the number of copies in each job then nest. You can rearrange them once nested as well.

Have a laminator you can run it thru?

A profile for which media? Is this a new problem? Does it happen when you print in Uni-Directional as well as Bi-Directional?

Humidity and static for me don't usually just pick on a particular color sequence, it usually (for me) plays havoc all around if thats the issue. For me that issue on a 540 would be head height or profile or Uni vs BiDirectional printing issues. Is it all media?

Our shop is 95% Macs, outside of the RIP (Versworks) the embroidery and shipping dpts not a PC to be found. Lived in the PC/Corel world for a long time many moons ago and while they have their place for some they don't for us. Our Macs easily outlive the PCs as a norm but you can get a Lemon...

I've stopped tossing them and now have 50-75 in a box, I wish Roland had a postage paid recycle program like HP does. You can return them to Roland but at your expense.
