  1. Printing bright red on our HP Latex 365

0/100/100/0 should theoretically be the brightest red. I tend to add 4-5% black as well for most of my "bright" reds as it fills it out a tiny bit. It's not as bright, but it gives the illusion of a more fuller / stop sign red color.
  2. HP115 question

I believe the free / comes with printer version of Flexi doesn't have the finishing tab or color options...maybe the print cut version does, but the non print cut version doesn't, At least it didn't on my 110 when I had it... One of their incentives to make you upgrade. But yes.... Such a...
  3. Is it at all possible.................................................................................

If its in the budget and not too late... buy the bigger graphtec! I remember the years of being frusterated trying to get it to read the cut marks because they print so close to the edge (Even with expanded area on) with 54" media... I know I can change where they print now, but I didnt back...
  4. HP 800W - what do you think about it?

It takes about a minute to load and do all its checks - Pre heating is about 2-3 minutes. It does checks and does a cleaning while its pre heating... So theres been a few occasions where that has hit the 5 minute mark from hitting start print, to before it starts to print. Then theres a 3-4...
  5. HP 800W - what do you think about it?

It was re-designed...and its garbage now. At first we loved them because theyre longer, so they hold down thicker materials better without them lifting and rubbing before it gets into the heater - IE: Traffic vinyls. Then... as pointed out, the flaw of them being flimsy showed up. Now it'll...

  9. EPSON SureColor S80600- HELP

We never use white. Orders are far and few inbetween, we use it on our latex... And even then we load it once a month. Can't imagine doing it on our Epson and wasting so much cleaning fluid everytime. If you print a bunch of white ink it's not bad.. but if you just plan on offering white...
  10. S80600 printing issues

Is the misting / colors going left/right, or are they off vertically? If left / right... its the head inclination. Don't try to change it yourself... its a knob that tilts/raises the head a little bit and aligns them, its held in by a screw and spring... and when you turn it, it uses little...
  11. Need Help Digitally Printing Reflective / Removal

I dunno, it's reflective... They might still be working on that vehicle. Joking aside. If its a removable reflective it's not bad... which if you're doing vehicle wraps it should be. Now we have cheated and used non removable... One time a customer wanted his hood wrapped in reflective...

  13. Wolly Gator: Hand Painted and Lettered

I never implied, nor pretended to be a hand painter. So thats like me demanding you go record yourself singing cotton eye'd joe, then calling you a bitch because you cant. Show me some original work that isn't stolen / copied and I'm sure more people here will be impressed!
  14. 4x8 custom printed coroplast sign

I liquid laminated a canvas - used frog juice... It looked good. Also had a 20 FT by 5 FT banner I made that went in a church archway of the pope - The first one got tagged.... they didnt have the money to do it properly and wanted to stick with banner, so I used a Anti Graffiti liquid coat...

I dont know... If you live in a trailer park, you might need the money! I too can steal a photo off the internet and make any sign look great... my kid learned to use scissors in the first grade, its not that much of a leap using a box cutter. Reproducing peoples artwork is easy... Anyone...
  17. Wolly Gator: Hand Painted and Lettered

I love how in the other thread you guys were idiots for criticizing him for breaking copyright when it's just personal stuff... because he doesnt need money, or problems...Then goes and posts copyrighted stuff he clearly sold to an RV Park...and still cries when he gets called out on it. If...
  18. Need Help White & black ink on transparent?

How sure are you on your math? We don't use the whie that often in our latex. I installed the heads to play around with it and finally get some use out of it, I left the heads in over the weekend and when I came back on Monday the white ink was at 0%! It was the ink that was installed when the...
  19. 4x8 custom printed coroplast sign

Do you use a liquid laminator or apply by hand?
  20. 4x8 custom printed coroplast sign

They're like latex... You're supposed to laminate everything that goes outdoors and is meant to last more than a few months. So many upsides to laminating, and you buil it into the price... Not sure why anyone would skip out on it for anything but budget signs, no matter the ink technology...
