  1. SAM Inks

Sam will be along soon to tell us how awesome they are. :)
  2. Rant Win 10 update again

We updated half a dozen pcs without issue.
  3. Profiling/Color Management goals

Onyx profiling is easy. It guides you step by step. The only step you need to look at a swatch and make judgements from the print is ink limits. Your trainer should give you tips on that. Also a few settings might need to be changed in the icc profile creation at the end.
  4. What printer should I buy? Latex or UV?

Epson output is far superior to latex and uses less ink. 4 colour printers will always use less than 6 when profiled correctly. Sure the 40600 is cheaper but do you want to print at 17.6 sq metres/hour or 10.5?
  5. Suggestions UV direct printing on glass

They are in Australia so not sure if they ship to you or you can find a similar product where you are. https://www.nanovations.com.au/n-bond-glass-primer.htm
  6. What printer should I buy? Latex or UV?

I saw one at the recent print show here and have to say the Colorado 1650 looks pretty good. We have some samples and the ink seems nearly as flexible as latex. The ability to print in matte would be handy.
  7. What printer should I buy? Latex or UV?

Not crashing but when one finishes a job Onyx shows it as still printing so you can't start another job. We just went to v19 which supposedly has printer isolation which hopefully that lets you shut one down and restart without having to reboot the rip. Haven't tested that yet, only been...
  8. What printer should I buy? Latex or UV?

HP latex prints - you can laminate right away and are super scratch resistant unlaminated so are perfect for short term promotional work. Glitchy communication with Onyx. Media loading sucks. Epson Surecolor prints - faster, better colour, consistant length, better quality. The 60600 uses less...
  9. Anyone have the Roll Up add on?

It's a bit of a pain to get taped on and started but it's great if you have a full roll to cut. I think we've only used it once. It does roll back. We also had no idea how to activate it. There's a sensor hidden at the back so if turned on in the front panel it will simply start taking up.
  10. Need Spectrophotometer for Onyx

Yeah you use it for profiling.
  11. Applying Vinyl on Vinyl

  12. Suggestions PLOTTER FOR HP LATEX 365

Summa are best. I believe Graphtec are also fine but we haven't owned one for years.
  13. Need Help Printed vinyl wall decal edges curling

What printer? Are they laminated. If so with what?
  14. Suggestions best optically clear vinyl

For permanent jobs 3M 8150. Short term removable - LG LP3962 is much cheaper.
  15. Strongly not recommend Flexi RIP and that's why

Doesn't sound very productive. Why not ditch Flexi and get another RIP and just focus on sales and production?
  16. Epson S80600 "Resetting Printer"

We've had that issue a couple of times since we got our 60600. That's about a year so not a massive problem.
  17. Do not use kas or sam-ink they are all suck

    Buy an ad, spammer.
  18. Suggestions GRAY OR BROWN ??

    Nothing worthwhile is easy, unfortunately.
  19. Laminate for UV inks (rigid media)

You were at the print show too? Shame I missed you.. yeah it was just a quick walk through really. See anything you liked? The new Colorado was looking good.
  20. Laminate for UV inks (rigid media)

Celmac have one with thicker adhesive for UV prints. Cast lams do pretty well too.
