I like the VS 540. That is the printer what I would go for. But I would get the DUAL CMYK setup for speed. We never had 1 customer who asked for metallic.
You guys are awesome! Cookies for everyone! I know lamination is a pita sometimes. Thats why I make sure I load the material in with the back first. So if the lam starts to shift and losing it from the top if the front door or fender its not a big problem. Fixable. (We are talking about a wan.)
About selling a service with the computer. Had a little hiccup with a driver. Called Alienware. They logged in on my pc. Checked out a few things. Fixed everything. I am happy. I drive a toyota and not wasting my money on new pc's every half a year. I mush be doing something wrong.
jk:D
Anyone with 64" or 74" could chime in pls??
64" would be just enough to print a whole side for a van and have no seams but as I see the widest material we can buy is 60"?
Am I missing something? It would be so awesome to wrap a side of a van 1 piece.
Wrapped a car in flat black. For joke we tried to plastidip the mirrors to see hows the color difference.. etc. Cleaned the side mirror. Did a few coats. Looked good until you touch it and realize it that you can scratch it up with your fingernail super easily. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.
primer the whole thing???? You will need a 2 person to hold the sideskirt and another to hold the vinyl. Because once the vinyl touches the primered surface you will have a bad time. :D
Hello there. I have wrapped many many transit connects. We just clean it with alcohol. 3M primer and the key tool is 3M Roller L and heat gun. Never had any problem since.
Put the gun on medium heat ( i put my heat gun on 500f) And ask someone to hold the gun for you a few inches away just...
I love the knifeless tape.
Just make sure you leave extra extra tape at both ends. If you leave only 1 inch of tape hanging out from underneath the material you will have a really bad time!
Sometimes its good to use some primer because the knifeless tape's adhesive is not aggressive at all.
