  1. Little bit of fun this year

Cool boat... Here's my opinion..NEVER take home fish for the freezer... Bring your fresh fish home and slap it on the BBQ.. That is the absolute best and you will NEVER go back to frozen fish..AND you will ..maybe ..help those fish survive in this "get it while you can" world... Cheers! Ken

  4. yellow miss firing

My general, uninformed opinion would be to drench the yellow head in cleaning fluid..in and out..however possible.. Interesteing that the Roland cart worked for a bit and then stopped...that should be a clue... Ken
  5. Interesting Read

Enjoy your weekend Gino... In Canada..we're gonna cook a turkey...just for the hell of it... Speakin' of cookin' turkeys...Critisism(sp?) is best served with a dose of preamble...but that takes too much effort. I approach this as...if you dont like my opinion..thats your problem...I'm...

  11. difference eco-sol maxx and eco sol @ sp300 menu?

When I switched from ecosol to maxx inks I just replaced the cartridges when they became empty and I really didn't have any issues with that. There is some bit of software from Roland..I may still have it on my system..for the change over. If your colour output is acceptable, dont bother...

  15. OK....After much work....

Yeah, I'm thinking the Est 2008 is either not in the right place or should be dropped altogether. If the small parallel lines converged on one end it may give a better feel of motion? Cheers! Ken btw..I'm liking #2, but the Circleville font is difficult.
  16. Sup

Welcome from BC. We'd like to see some of your work. Cheers! Ken
  17. "Can you email me the file?"

Yes..I get kinda steamed when this happens..kinda depends on my mood at the time. I have a preschool that I've done some already discounted work for and it is still apparent they want to shop it around...grrr. I did NOT send them the file that I spent so much time vectorizing from their crappy...
  18. Colorip 2.2 Cutting off Letters

Open the eps file in wireframe mode. You may find some fragments that are "outside the box" causing the file to be bigger than actually seen.. Can you remove the bounding box? Are your margins/cropping set to zero? Ken
  19. Etched/frosted Glass Vinyl?

Nice idea about using as a shadow behind the glass...thanks. We use the Avery etched material..it also is a little "weaker' as far as handling, but great adhesion. Ken
  20. Hi strangers

Hi David. Welcome from BC. You could make bumper stickers and magnets using just a plotter. Those would be just simple text and graphics. For small runs or one-offs, not a bad way to go. You may be able to find a used roland (or other) 24" plotter. You could also buy a Chinese plotter but buyer...
