I am working on a typestyle right now that solves the problem of vinyl failure.
All vinyl eventually fails.
It fails really quick if you try to stick it to a frying pan.
I like Gacos Idea of putting a little round on all the corners.
I just did a signtific experiment.
I put a slight round on...
Don't sweat it
Somebody buys a piece of plywood from home depot and installs it where ever.It blows down in a storm and kills somebody. You really think home depot is responsible ?

Here is a money making tip
Don't be penny wise and dollar foolish.
Use the best materials available to you.
Produce the best product possible
Seek and work for the people who know the difference.
Trying to skimp on materials is going to cost you money in the long run.
Sell em a new sign
In my shop "Reconfiguring" a sign cost more than a new one.
It's like taking your ford truck to the autobody shop and asking them to make it look like a Chevy truck
"that's cheaper right"
Run away fast from the customer that dose not not need a new sign and only wants to...
I would Remove
I would remove myself from this job and work on something else.
Never had a good experience with the people who want cheap.
Can't wait to see what it looks like with a paint job.
Post a picture when your done.
Good luck with your awning project.
