I'm wondering if its okay to leave the printer on standby overnight or over the weekend or should i turn the printer off if im not going to be at the shop for 3-5 days?
also i have a mutoh valuejet 1624. thanks for the help.
im using a valuejet 1624 and yeah when i used the oem ink nothing has gone wrong and nothing was going wrong with the printer till this last week. luckily its just the problem with reading the ink cartridges. print is still great. i prefer the bordeax ink compared to the oem. the smell isnt as bad.
Update: Fixed, remove all print cartridges while machine is completely off. Turn printer on without cartridges, wait for a beep sound and insert all of them in and fix.
Exactly what he said. Usually it's the banner material that makes it look like there's banding. Try printing on a regular vinyl sheet with a different print profile than the banner and post a pic
Hi i have a mutoh valuejet 1624 on a bulk in system. today when i went to go put on my machine i got a kcmy s/c read error. i tried switching out the boards but nothing helps. any help to get rid of this error, please?
you can either purchase a new plotter, something like a graphtec, mutoh cutter etc or if you plan on only doing print and cuts i would just go with a small roland that can do both and save you tons of headaches. cutters with the eye are not always a breeze. my graphtec sucks a**
i hate the thinner stuff, now that stuff does thin it out a lot. again just try it next time, i actually got that tip from a friend and have used it ever since. i know it sounds crazy but when you compare the two products they actually are not much different.
1 shot paint has gotten a lot tougher to work with especially in the last 8 years, i think they changed their formula or something, but anyways you are going to think i sound like Gina^^, but add a little bit of charcoal lighter fluid to the paint and it gets a lot easier to work with. anyways...
