Does it have to come from Gerber? Can I have it replaced locally?(it appears to soldered into place)

When I took the pics, I went ahead and turned the Edge on. It powers up fine and looks normal but it does give off a burning smell. The first photo is to give a frame of reference and the second photo shows the cylinder(middle one) that has slightly popped open.

Got it working. Even though we haven't messed with the ribbons going to the head, we reseated them(pull them out and stuck them back in) and that fixed the problem. Thanks to member Robert M and MikePro for your help!

Everything was fine on Friday but today, one printhead will not fire at all. The test draw is completely blank for that head. Being that it's not printing anything, I doubt it's a clogged head but we've tried nozzle washes just to be safe. Any ideas of things to try to resurrect it? I'm down...
