you're probably right, I was trying to make things faded and Faux antiqued without looking crummy, but I probably lost the edge at about 3am and wasn't paying so much attention. This was the trailer i was considering the IJ480 for by the way. Thanks again for the input on that.

same issue I just had the same problem over the weekend on my XC-540. I thought it was my printer, then I put a new roll on, and it was perfect. the first roll or 2 had a spot running down the center that was just like a fine dotted line, then 2 rolls went through with speckles all over High...

I just squished the crap out of bank gothic and it fit perfect, but it looks like they beefed it up a smidge with a rounded stroke also
