I don't think there is a software really out there that would have the pictures ready for you. Most likely you would need to buy the image and then use a design software to create the sign using that image.

I get a very similar issue a lot as on my VS-300i, it likes to put too much magenta down, so I always need to reduce the magenta in the color adjustment tab. Can always give that a try.

I think you can do empty mode from the sub menu - Ink Control. Not sure if that would work though. It may be as mentioned above, you might need a tech to come in and do it as the service menu is locked and only tech accessible when you do the update for TR2 inks.

As many have said above, VW isn't Mac compatible, unless your run it on The virtual Machine inside of the Mac, however, you'd need a computer, not an ipad. The other issue that wouldn't make an ipad compatible is that the SP-540 plugs in via USB, which an ipad doesn't have (as far as I know).

Have to tried restarting the cutter and computer? I know with my old SP-300V's, sometimes it loses connection and I want to restart both the versaworks program and the machine, but always the machine on first. Sorry if you've already tried this option.

My guess is that it's putting in to much magenta. Try removing magenta and see if it improves. I have a similar issue with my Roland VS-300i.

I myself wouldn't, the only way you should ever have to replace at your expense is if it's a failure of the product in a short time after installation, otherwise, it is their fault and it's going to cost them to fix (if even possible) or replace.

One of the most unlikely causes could be the magnets have lost their strength and aren't able to keep together anymore. But as mentioned above, the most likely culprit is that it needs a limit initialization.

Have you cleaned the encoder strip recently? I am experiencing the same thing and from everything I can read, it sounds like the heads are starting to go. But if you find a different solution, I'd love to hear it, as it would save a few bucks.
