My parents used to open the sets and sort them into our stockings at Christmas. :) I remember the fights my brother and I used to get in to when we both wanted to view the same ones at the same time too.o_O
I see you have printed using this particular file before but maybe try test printing a series of squares with various shades of red to see what happens and rule out a problem with the file for sure.
I have not noticed a difference but then again my tag does not show my name - yes, I am a woman. I feel I get quick and concise information when I have a question or issue. I have noticed often times what starts as a friendly chuckle end ups being a not so friendly bashing on some threads.

Most plotters cannot cut the full width of the vinyl. For 24" I usually do not cut any wider than 22.65 on mine. You will need to check the specs for your plotter.
Sorry...should of specified...I use a half inch square that I draw as a test not the test cut that comes with the software. I like half inch square because it is small and accurate.
I only use two passes for magnetic. Mostly to save on the blade. Everything else plots fine without double pass using 60 blade. I test cut at what I think and then adjust from there. One other little tip is that I tape the platen so the mag glides over it easier. Not really helpful in your...
I keep this in my arsenal for reference and newbies. It may help others. We cut laminated reflective, sandblast, magnetic and laminated floor graphics. We do have extra rollers on one of our Graphtec plotters (60 blade) to help with the thicker materials.
