Nope. You may be surprised to learn there are more reasons to recycle than that warm and fuzzy feeling that I'm sure you walk around with all day long. I'm searching for a way to reduce the money that I spend on trash removal which may include recycling.
Keep smiling, bob, you dear, sweet...
I'm interested in recycling backing paper also and did some googling. Here are some links to the info that I found. I'm going to call Harmony Recycling tomorrow to get some information since they are only about 4 hours away from me. I'd love to hear if anyone else has found a way to get their...
We'll be moving to a new location soon and I want to send out a well designed email to let my clients know. I researched two companies that provided email marketing services - Constant Contact and AWeber.com
Does anyone here have experience with either of these companies or have another...
I didn't do it BUT I have done stripes that come across the decklid and down the rear bumper and it was VERY, VERY hard to keep them parallel because of the compound curves on the bumper. This one looks worse because the stripes appear to be too close together to start with.
jiarby,
I think you're spot on. The ROI has to happen quick(less than 5 years) because like you said, the risk becomes too great because of factors that you can't control.
First, the chicken pasties still crack me up.
With a grid tied system, there are no batteries because you do not store energy. If you make more energy than you use, then your meter runs backwards (google net metering). It's not my intention to sell energy back to the power company. My...
There are some really good state and federal incentives available that will significantly shorten the time to recoup the initial investment. In Virginia, the Dept. of Mines, Minerals and Energy took reservations for rebates on solar PV and wind systems. We were approved for up to a 20kW system...
I'm researching solar PV systems with the thought of installing one at our new shop. Does anyone here have one? Anything you can share? Like/dislike? Install it yourself or purchase turnkey? How's the ROI looking? Are you selling SREC's? Any info is appreciated.
We had one "stolen". It was for a housing development that already had several homes in it that people had paid $600k+ for. The new sign said "Starting in the $400's". The sign was recovered just down the bank in the woods from where we installed it so I'm sure it was an angry homeowner.
I'm not sure how others feel about this, but I don't think posting pricing - whether retail or wholesale - in an open forum where anyone can get to it is a good idea. If you feel comfortable sharing this info, then a PM might be a better way to communicate.
Bob,
I just wanted to let you know that I think you're being a very good friend to this man and his family. I don't know how to help as I just have a Mimaki also but at least this gives the thread a "bump".
Maybe I'm missing something here, I haven't seen anything in this thread that illustrates him being defensive or touchy.
BTW, I've been in business for 15 years and a member of Signs101 for nearly 5 years. It still makes me uncomfortable to post pictures of my work no matter how good I think...
Outlook. I keep bumping up against the maximum file size of 2GB(because I'm an email packrat) which then stops you from sending or receiving any new mail so I recently, I've been using my service provider's webmail.
I agree in concept but had a project that makes me see why a backup plan is necessary.
A couple of years ago, we had an order to print emergency evacuation maps to go on the back of doors inside of hotel rooms. The hotel is 30 years old and all they had were very grainy black and white copies...
