Hi Mike, I'm curious, how did you finally figure out that the problem was a faulty LED Pointer? What is the LED Pointer anyway and do you know the part number? Where did you get the replacement part from?
I'm pretty much commited to getting a new Summa OPUS Cam plotter too, how do you find the...
Hi Christine...what thickness are you looking for, is it just a square cornered rectangle you need and is it white you definitely want? I'll do them for you....just in the hope to restore your faith in all the good people here.
Who told you their table could not laminate vinyl?
From my experience, looking at them carefully at trade shows for many years now, I would chose a CWT if I were to get one today.

Gene, this is a fantastic effort you have made. Filemaker can be an awesome solution for the industry but as we know, there is a little learning curve when starting out. If I may make a suggestion, I am not a YouTube expert and on a quick glance I found it a little challenging to figure out...
OK, so obviously you are much more capable than I thought and not a novice at all so I give you credit where credit is due for you ingenuity. I have an Edge, Envision, Multicam 3000, Enroute and Flexi (only use it as a printing rip) but I'm still at a loss as to what you are going to do with a...
No offense but I don't think either of those ideas are good options. That 744 plywood CNC looks questionable at best and I would never buy a Gerber408 that "can't be fixed" because it probably....can't be fixed!....and is only good for parts. If you already bought the 744 and you are willing to...
I believe they make quality products at AccuCutter and they have a line of shears designed for small scale awards type work. Here is a link:

So I just noticed for the first time that this setting says, "Options for Black on RGB and Grayscale devices", which implies to me that this setting has no affect on outputting to CMYK devices and therefore will have no affect on how something prints Black on a CMYK printer. Here is something I...
This is what you are looking for however, it really helps to have the book to go along with it.

I'm using Win 7, Mimaki CG-130FXII and FineCut Pro 8.5. Do you have the manual? There are a lot of checks and adjustments and if I ever have a problem I start going through all the settings but it ends up making my head spin especially since it's written in Japanese/English. I can give you a...
Just out of curiousity, does anyone know how the operation of the Summa products compare to Mimaki? I have a Mimaki plotter and the operation is simple for straight cutting and print cutting via Finecut. Does it not work that way for Summa? Do you need multiple programs or complicated steps instead?
