Try this. It might work. Get a full ink cartridge, remove the chip from LM cartridge which went empty. Put LM chip on that new ink cartridge. It should work if you want to bypass the ink issue.

If I take out one M Cartridge, move another one, put the first one in. It registers green. The chip should be in working order.

I would soak the head overnight. Sometimes it helps, not just for coupe of hours. How did you soak the printhead? We clamped the hose under the cap top, fill up the cleaning solvent in the cap. Move the printhead on top of it for overnight. It helped good deal of it. We have liter bottle...

got it. the head remains on the cap, lock it with blue bracket. For some reasons, i moved the head to the left (cleaning mode). Thank you.

We are moving our Roland VP540 to the show. Can someone show how to lock the head? We couldn't find the spot to screw in to secure the head for transportation. Been there done there just can't find it.

you can see how many hours have the printer printed from the service menu. Usually, the Roland owners should know how to get one. Nozzle check, print fill ink, print graphics, find a technician to go with you. Repairing these machine isn't fun(cheap). To pay that technician $100 just to go...

Got a hold of a Versaworks CD, installed and updated to the latest version. It is working well now. Problem solved. ps. There is no link any where on Roland website.

Something is wrong with the delivery system to UK. Will let you know when it's fixed. Would live to hand delivery to UK though.

We have three roland XC, VP and SPi and CJV30. Print quality is about the same BUT speed wise, CJV = XC > VP > SP. I would choose XC > CJV>VP>SP (speed)
