  1. Bad service from signs 365

Replaced them with new vendor. Problem solved. Not like they're the only game around. These are a series of window graphics with large background pic. Problem was (1) damaged prints and (2) a white outline around all images making the graphic smaller than the glass. There is no white outline in...
  2. Bad service from signs 365

Took it form their rep that answered phone to a manager, only made it worse. Already working on replacing them in our plan while I am running a batch of rum in the distillery. Multi-tasking! Shame really. Up until today they were knocking it out of the park every time, but when you basically...
  3. Bad service from signs 365

Thank you. Client is the largest liquor distributor in the US. Been a client over 20 years. It made me look bad today and cost me some cash but I am confident I will keep the client. S365 not so much. Sad thing is this is the front of a large liquor store, I still have over 26 large double...
  4. Bad service from signs 365

For the record, I will probably use them again once I get over the level of po'd these dipsticks put me at today, but not on anything large. At the moment I wouldn't be very nice in person. Phone warriors make me sick. I just paid two installers to clean my warehouse today instead of install...

, so I assume they're "screwing the pooch" was entirely their fault? Yep. Entirely. I have been in business over 35 years, I have corrected every mistake I have ever been given the chance to and quite a few that weren't mine just to keep good customer relations.
  7. Bad service from signs 365

Just a heads up. I'm a little hot right now so I'll make it short. If signs 365 makes a mistake that costs you time and money, get over it. That's their attitude. Only been using them a short time, everything was great until today. Biggest job I've sent them so far, they screwed the pooch and...
  8. How do you measure the exact size of a sign that is high up in the air?

Short of using a lift to do exact, which you should do before making pans anyway, I have a friend who uses a drone for site surveys now. It's crazy how accurate that thing is. He doesn't even get out of the truck, lol.
  9. Cutting Plotter Software: Which one?

Stick with flexi, or, if they still offer one time purchase, look at basic version of signlab. Even if you are just doing simple cutting, the tools in either SL or flexi just make life a whole lot easier, faster, more profitable and take your design up a step..

  11. Need Help corel to signlab

You haven't upgraded SL since V5 but have Corel 16? Wah wah. lol. Sometimes my Corel 12 will not copy/paste hotkey quite right into SL8p/c and I have to export. I keep a junk file for it. Either an eps or an ai seems to do it. Hope that helps.

Every time I try using something other than transferite I regret it. Just me. I use high tack. I also keep a roll of polytape clear around for various uses.

  17. Graphtec plotter making clackity clackity sounds

WD 40 should clean up rails ok but I would certainly use a better lube, possibly white lithium on rails after a good clean.
  18. Question 20/20 Ink Clogged Head, Switch Out Now or Wait?

Yep, not all 3rd parties are created equal.
  19. Question 20/20 Ink Clogged Head, Switch Out Now or Wait?

OEM is normally best. That being said I had OEM in an old seiko that clogged my magenta head. Was happening across the country with other shops so I switched to nazdar inkset and the problem cleared up. Never had an issue with nazdar inks. Not all 3rd party is the same. Nazdar has been in the...
