I've been screen printing for almost 40 years. I stay away from political signage. They want it too cheap and you have to threaten imminent death to get paid.
Used flexi in the past, just not my cup of tea. Have many friends that use it with no issues. Personally I use signlab and it does all I need with a minimum of trouble over the years. I also have corel and illy and ps. All have their uses but SL is my main program.
Eeesh. My experience was just the opposite. OEM was clogging my magenta. It was actually a widespread problem with orig seiko carts. I changed to nazdar and it cleared up on its own. Ran them for years with great success. Did the guys from Nazdar make it right with your friend?
Picked up an f600 service body 40' lift a few years ago for under 5k, old but solid truck. They're out there. Most days my pickup and on strictly office days my old vette. I did rent a towable the other day due to access on site, great tool but prefer my truck. Anything I cant reach I sub out or...
I print direct from either corel or signlab to film. I am currently using an epson workforce all in one that has 13x19 output. When I send files the are all in rgb black and setup is color print. I tell it it is printing on matte paper. Nice rich black film.

You go kid, at 17 I was screen printing using hand cut stencils and hand painting signs, doors and vehicles with quills and starving to death. Couldn't have financed a pogo stick.
Drop frame and signs. Attach panels. Re attach frame to sign. The frame should attach from the back side to poles so you should be able to get it from behind.
