Yep, at 5" I would think a vinyl graphic on acm with some back cutting if a rounded surface and you could mount it to concrete. 5' is pretty small for a tower plus that high up.
Several years back I lost a bread and butter client that I had for many years to a much larger union shop that took all their work nationwide. It almost did me in but I learned a great deal from it. Sometimes you can be doing all the right things and it still doesn't matter. I had to quit doing...
Absolutely. If not for being riffed I would still be there. Still looking for old modules, so far nothing. I have my old computer from back then, I will throw a monitor and keyboard at it this weekend see if I can find old files.
I will look. I left my course there when I left teaching. RIF, reduction in force. Didn't have a teacher in the budget the next year. Bang, unemployed with highest of recommendations because I was last hired by 90 days. Funny thing schools. I loved the job though. Had to write the course as the...
I have taught high school commercial art. Go with separates, that way you can have more than one group working at a time if your lessons are organized as modules. You can have four or five groups working at one time and also the ability for a new student to drop in at any time during year and...
Fellers, tubelight, etc. Doesn't have to be phototex brand, there are a few other brand names but fabric is what you want. If you but seam vinyl it will most likely shrink back after a bit exposing your seams. Phototex is very easy to apply. Grab a big squeegee and let er rip.
I would air it out for a day or so. I also as others have suggested would use a fabric product like phototex. No laminatiing and removable with zero damage to wall. You can overlap, slice and but hinge panels.
Todays example. I'm in the library this morning perusing facebook and on one of the pages pops up someone asking if any one does decals for those steel cups that seem to be everywhere. You should have seen how many cricket owners as well as "shop" owners jumped on it. If you have a 12" plotter...
When the computer entered this industry it went straight in the toilet. Those of us in the trade for years had to learn the new way just so we could speed up production to justify the lower pricing the new generation was putting out there because of their speed. The problem is the newer...
For vinyl, roll. Printed not so much. I used to do two rather large movie theater frames with new releases. 14'x20'. Just install what was sent to theater. They were all printed and all came folded in boxes. By the time we laid them in the morning sun and removed old faces they were just fine...
