$10k? That's cheap.. this machine is going to make you money. If you are going into a business and can't afford $10- $30k you might wanna stick to working for someone else.
$250.. guess what you just wasted your time and our time with this thread that probably equates to about $500 worth of wasted time. Thank your cheapskate client for us :)
Just specify that you want a pdf then? I like illustrator as I run a Mac.. and have used the adobe products for a long time now.. I think it's good to know your way around a few apps it's pretty easy to learn especially if you know corel already.
Did you try restarting the computer? It is best to allow a lot of hdd space on the computer to help with low memory error issues. It might be time to upgrade the computer too. Or if you have a ton of jobs in your queue you could start deleting the really old ones to save space.
Yes I've been supplying roll up banners since day 1 and it's still our Bread and butter product. I now use a 440gsm matte usb banner material.. it's super strong, tear proof/resistant and far cheaper than the plastic alternatives I used to use! I also make sure to make the banner size 10mm...
Greatest thing about the new cheap cheap shops.. they usually close down within a year. I run a small business and my Dads advice "6x cost is what you want to aim for".. 4 x is still ok but 6 is going to help you succeed long term. He ran a successful jewellery store business for over 30 years.
