Rick thanks for the reply. You and I are on the same page. The designer or architect agency has been utterly no help.
I've had these done outsourcing about 10 different projects already over the years, but the main vendor I used royally screwed a job up so I had to stop using them. So I've used...
I'm going to start producing some interior signage to try and utilize the workshop I've been growing.
Can someone help me find a vendor for the white channel in this photo?
I looked for an hour but couldn't find the specs of 2-1/8"
Thank you!!
So let's make a distinction. Normal vinyl if used should get a laminate.
However, if you choose a thick actual adhesive backed wall covering material it doesn't usually get laminate, maybe spray laminate but not roll laminate.
The reason being is the material itself is part of the selling...
All towns have a small company that is called a converter. They can take your roll and cut it to any size.
I'd caution using a bandsaw, chopsaw etc unless you are comfortable with those machines to experiment.
It'll cost you 10-15 dollars to take it to a conversion place. Or better yet if your...
I think my initial 40mph is wrong
Apparently they had tornado warning etc.
I applied the sheets directly to posts and 2x4's with 3" deck screw with hex bit.
Also put beeds of liquid nails to each connection point.
I'm hoping to get photos but not yet. Picture tells a thousand words right.
Yes a barn crushed some cows and large trees were leveled.
I also found out his deductible is over 200k so he won't be submitting that.
What a cluster fuck.
Gino I did do dead man anchors and beyond that there is a concrete planter behind it and I attached it to that as well. If that helps.
I worked my ass off on doing that so I definitely didn't half ass it.
I have been advised that the client needs to turn it into their insurance as that is exactly what insurance covers and that I should not be responsible for any of it.
Guess I'll find out
And apparently yes I think was more like tornado gusts of wind. I was not aware it was that bad.
Hello, I'm posting a pic of this sign not so it can be critiqued. I know it's not the best looking sign.
I'm posting it because it was destroyed last night in a wind storm. Winds over 40mph
The sign is 6mm aluminum sheets screwed to wood frame behind.
The wood frame consisted of 4x4 posts...
I sell these somewhat regularly. I custom apply vinyl lettering for golf courses to write their green info on it, and other uses. However the link seems to be acting funny right now, so keep checking it to see if it is right for you. Customers love these things and it is a fancy country club...
So I need to use 60" frosted vinyl, and I looked up the Mactac Bubble free but it only goes to 54"
I did find some other brands that are 60"
I wanted to see if anyone sells it on here, or if anyone recommends a brand they have used in the past that width.
Thanks
I suck at this, and I think I know this one, like copperplate or something like that. Please let me know.

Hi everyone, thanks for reaching out to my wife. It was a strange time indeed and I am sure I was very lost at that time and I am not sure why I had her post on here. So forgive me for such an odd posting when this happened.
I am still unable to work, but have been doing my best to transition...
