Lucky you. With the HP260 you can set your light ink curves when you setup your linearization. For L360 and beyond users we can't do that. The best we can do is control GCR in the output profile but we are still limited by HP's baked in light ink curves.
Which brings up the question which I...
We have gone through this before here so you might what to do a search. If I understand what you want to do you need to set Document Raster Effects Setting in Illustrator to at least 300ppi. This is if you are RIPing the Illustrator file or generating a non flattened PDF to RIP. You can test...
Unbelievable, People still trying to use Ultraflex on Latex printers! Only thing you can do is wipe it down good with alcohol and hope you can get all the plasticizers off to even hope to get a decent print. And your other issue is the heat is too high and or maybe tension is too high.
So tell me are you making your own output profiles and setting GCR for maximum usage of the light inks?
Seems to be what is common about all the threads your talking about. Those of us with color management and making our own profiles knowledge don't seem to have much of an issue with grain...

Take a look at the GCR settings of your output profiles. Black start especially.
PM me and we can discuss this...

Did some testing of this issue today. Both tests were done on bleeds with 100% printer black only.
3M IJ180CV3 & 8519 could not pull up lam no matter how hard I tried. This was after laminating about 2 hours after printing.
General Formulation 201 & 401. With a some effort I could pull up...
It does do "continuous printing" as long as the Media Preset is the same. But not all RIPs support it. The older Latex machines had a small pause between jobs. The 300 series does not pause at all between jobs it is totally continuous.
