Long term signage. They know they can get 5' x 8' or 10' substrates and they know I can print and mount/laminate that size so they ask. Mounting is no more of a problem than 4' x 8' or 10'. Seems kind of strange that the media producers don't know this? I have to tell them 59". If they request...
I get a bunch of requests for signs that are 5' x 8' or 10'. I always try to get them to go to 59" but the substrate has to be cut then.
What SAVs are out there at 61" to 64". Having a real hard time finding that size. Can't understand why. Why all the 60" SAV when substrate comes in 60". Do...
For SAV vinyl the Optimizer setting in your Media Preset should be set around 12. Never seen a need to go above 18. Are you serious it was set that high?
I see that you found another thread about this but there was another thread that had a lot more posts that I can't find anymore.
Anyway this seems to come down to a ink curing issue. Not enough heat for long enough seems to be the conclusion of some. I haven't seen it except in rare cases where...
Don't know that there is a test for this other than to try different settings and see if it would make any difference. If it appears not to be feeding enough then I would think the media might be slipping in the pinch rollers because of too much tension. If it is feeding too much then the only...
There is backup feature for backing up settings in Fiery XF. That needs to be done before you upgrade. That used to be in the documentation did you read it before you upgraded?
There are 4 curing modules so dividing up the curing into the 4 sections is one area not curing or is it all across the media. If it is all across the media then I don't think it is likely that all 4 nodules a bad. More likely the air flow problem. There is in Service Mode tests that can be done...
Where are you getting the media presets from for the 560. You surly can't use the ones for the 360 as the heat setting for the 360 would way to high for the 560 given the different curing design. For those running both the 360 and 560 how much lower do you need to set the curing heat on the 560?
What really needs defined is what is a service or labor? Surly hemming a banner is not consider a service it is part of the manufacturing process. Then what is installing a wrap? Is it not part of the manufacturing process? If your a business, anything to produce a final product for a customer...
