I would use 1/4" ACM with 1/2" pvc routed letters OR cut acrylic letters. I dont like acrylic outside but think it would be fine for this lettering. I would paint ACM with latex and silicone the lettering to it. You wont have any issues, also do not allow this sign to swing.

We are talking about a business going under new ownership. Clients could leave they are under no contract to stick with new owners. People dont like change. The new owners may also not have the same skills or capacity the older one did, makes folks leave.

One shot will die within a year here. its either latex or auto paints for me and Im doing more latex and vinyl, have had no issues at all with that. The drying and curing time is hell but its all good

How long will a painted sign with one shot last outside in your area/

back in the day? Yes I tried rustoleum. Its thin but great for spraying. it WILL NOT last in the elements. Rustoleum is actually worse than One Shot and I thought that was impossible. I dont know how these big time guys are treating their One Shot but they are still using it

you could always use a single stage auto paint, our PPG jobber always takes care of us. I can say if you want to save a dollar use their OMNI line. Its a sign not a car. Also remember their is nothing wrong with latex
