heres my issue with covering mullions. when you see it at an angle its going to be distorted worse than not covering them. I would hate to remove the decal from mullion later and its not going to stick to the rubber around mullions so thats has to be cut away anyway. its just a PITA BUT to each...
The micrometer, (even though I hate it) is too detailed, too complicated it separates itself from the name. Change the fonts, both of them suck. Lets start this over again, shall we? Make name more prominent, make micrometer secondary
Heres the thing about "NEW" stuff. We are its gerbils, We are the ones that will "demo" their so called stuff even though they say its been through rigorous element testing. Next year when this stuff starts failing, do you think Fellers will step in and help you?....No. Because once you have...
Ive never had two trucks BUT I have lifted long face with one truck and some forks on it and actually gorilla taped a 1x2 aluminum tubing to face and that really helped to keep it stout, those damn things are hard to play with
I would use 1/2" pvc. Once routed you will have the thickness you want and it wont be heavy nor very expensive. you will not have that gloss edge though. Acrylic is going to be expensive but that might be the way to go. fabricated aluminum will be best bet BUT you are going to pay out the ass...
my self if no seam was to be shown (or less seam) I would have made an aluminum frame for this and placed panel in it and butted them. you can NEVER trust a "flat"wall when seaming it will bite your ass everytime. You have watsed a lot of time and energy on this sign......we have all been there...
An I agree about the PO, that is very important. It is also important to have a email trail. in the end 120 days later the bookeeper or accounts payable will be avoiding your calls and email. I dont know how some people sleep at night
when we do windows we just dont cover the mullions you can still read the sign just fine. We always cut decals back a little away from the rubber molding around them
Others are going to bash me for saying this but its worked for me for years. Email them and tell them you will be removing all signage if invoice is not paid. When you have these "large "companies" the issue you deal with is they dont care and its runs thru so many channels and so many people to...
The best weapon in dealing with large companies is keeping an email trail. and do not think whoever you are dealing with will not throw your ass under the dump truck when crap goes south. There are too many people going too many different directions and everyone is trying to call the shots...
