If that's the case then Summa has apparently written some proprietary code requiring that line. Odd but manufacturers put "safeguards" in place.
Was it working before or never worked from the get go?
If you are referring to the missing horizontal line it has nothing to do with a bar codes effectiveness. Bar code scanners read the ratio between the white and black lines.
Never had that issue as I don't sell inferior products. I never use less than 13oz scrim with 1" hems and real brass grommets every two feet. Been doin' them like that for 30+ years with no call backs.
Champagne taste, beer budget. Want's a slick wall graphic and thinks by not covering the whole space is going to save money. Run away and fast. Highly textured? Strong pass, install would be a nightmare and doomed to failure from the onset.
If you have the skill paint it. If not sub it...
Does the client actually need the temp rating? I think wrap vinyl would work a treat. I make industrial labels and use Arlon 6000XRP with 3220 laminate. Good for 176 degrees F.
If budget is a concern Mimaki makes different sizes of flatbed plotters. We have a CF22-1225 in the lab at school. It runs well and with vacuum you can through cut decals. No kiss cutting then perf cutting. Just not a fan of Rasterlink.
Paneled a semi-truck wrap with Flexi. You can set overlaps, flip every other panel and set sizes manually. I just set the overlap and let it figure out the panels. Then I take a look to make sure the panel won't screw up text or images. Easy to turn panels on or off too.
Pretty sure Flexi...
Flexi right now and probably until I retire. Had ErgoSoft but they wouldn't let me upgrade or run my current version so there it sits.(not going into details) Wrote it off as a loss.
I've run others but they aren't relevant to the conversation.
Nothing to do with hype Gino but I understand your comment. End user pays for it regardless.
Critical thinking asks: What happens when you can't get the materials to run your shop, or the customer refuses to pay the exorbitant quote?
We know there's going to be supply chain issues whether...
My in town supplier of coro had a 12 week lead time and would allow me the privilege of paying 2.5X as much.
Ordered from Grimco and got it next day without the price increase. I should probably place the same order today.
Haven't had any issue with Grimco. Some time ago Midwest stopped delivering to my home shop. Grimco said give me your money and address.;)
Hope that doesn't change.
Agree with Johnny Best. Have it CNC'ed. Can passivate after everything is done. Passivating is nothing more than wiping down with an acid solution. It removes surface contaminants and builds a thicker oxide layer. I used to do this way back when I worked in a fab shop building dryers for...
No Google listing that I know of. S'pose it wouldn't hurt to check. No website either at this point. Pulled it down for a refresh...whenever we get to it.
Actually have a new brand to release for a target market. Again, when I get to it.
Lazy? Perhaps, but I'm not that far away from having...
