When you say the weak vacuum is solvable, do you mind sharing what the fix is? We have had issues with banner media buckling and causing headstrikes on our UCJV. Even with heads raised it's still hit and miss. Thanks.

Really? Based on the ink configuration/order? That seems really strange. With our UCJV we've created profiles to do cmykww, wwcmyk, and ww. It was definitely a challenge due to Onyx not having great drivers for the printer when we first got it.

I would think either one is fine. Once it's encapsulated in the ice, the ink type won't really matter.

Another vote for this. This is our go-to high-tack vinyl, in both air-release and regular adhesive. Great product at a great price point.

What brand of clear vinyl? Are the holes punched properly? Can you try a fresh roll and see if it's just due to the hole pattern on that one specific roll?
