I'd like to add a plug for a type of insurance I've been recommending to self employed folks for 2 decades. In 1986 my business was at the heigth of success. I was in my thirties and living in the third new house I had built. Suddenly one morning I was struck with massive internal bleeding from...
Based on when I selected Carleton as the font in Corel it did not match. HOWEVER... when I noticed your spelling was Carlton (no "e"), I downloaded the correct Carlton and y'all were right with the font match. My bad (and Corel's!)
I'm constantly faced with scrolling thru font preview to try and identify fonts. I know I've seen discussions in here before of ID software, but can't find them. Anyone have a suggestion for a good program?
another kudos for signfonts from SteveC. I rarely used any of the standard Gerber fonts after I got Steve's. Plus, by bein' in his same hometown, it's the only way my work ever comes close to his!
My copy of Macromedia Freehand 10 was lost in a shop fire. I want to replace it to load into another computer. Was hoping someone here might have this older version they'd be willing to part with. PM me. Thanks.
My Macromedia Freehand CD burned up in a fire recently. I am wondering if there is a way to copy it from the computer its installed on to put it in a new CPU? Probably not, I know, but never hurts to ask!
There is an Arab businessman down the street from me who has absolutely ruined it for anyone from that culture with me. I spent about 45 minutes with him designing a banner layout to get it to his satisfaction. When I quoted him the price, THAT began about another 45 minutes of "C'mon man, I...
It was an honest question. I was adopted into Roland family when one was given to me. I also implicitly do not direct sarcasm - I consider it to be sub par communication.
Sooo... should my PNC950 have some sort of limited length as well? Cuz operating it with Gerber Omega I can assure ya it cuts any length I send out. I sure don't want it to find out if it is not supposed to be doing this.
Well... ya got some of the standard comments I expected when I began reading this thread. We've obviously heard this identical story before. My best customer who recently passed away was a regular source of race car jobs for me for 18 years. I gotta admit, your attitude revealed in your...
First, where can I get a new one for a PNC950? And then, how do I get old one off to replace it? Thanks in advance... I'm not exceptionally mechanically inclined!
WOW!!! For once I disagree with Freddo (albeit, only a tad).
If I were the original questioner here, I'd totally take to heart everything "bob" said about a handful of fonts in the hands of a skilled practitioner who varies and embellishes said fonts to suit his purposes. In three decades I've...
Ugggghhhhh.... I am green thinking about burping THAT combo onto my tonsils and swilling the aftertaste!!!! Now, if ya wanna be compensated adequately, make it lotsa beer and sardines on Friday night for all that extra graphic inspiration. That burp is heavenly.
It's a fairly new machine on something of a loan to me awhile. Actually, I didn't really want it... being a dyed in the wool Gerber guy since '82, who only reluctantly adopted a 24" Roland machine I love equally. Didn't really wanna deal with that big of a friction feed with the Q100. IN ALL...
