I am another VERY satisfied Caldera fan. Their support is awesome too!! Running both my my L260's with it.
  2. Only buy HP Latex inks from dealer who sold you machine?

I was told that you can, but you have to sign a paper stating why you wanted to purchase from somewhere else. I haven't seen it, just what I was told. My supplier gives me a good price on ink, so I have no reason to shop around.
  3. HP L210 Delivered Damaged

The cost pretty much covers the take up real, which I couldn't see going without!
  4. If you prefer Summa over Graphtec or Roland. I'm curious why? Fill me in

    My FC8000 was a total POS!! My S140T hasn't missed a beat!
  5. HP L210 Delivered Damaged

I got lucky. The tech was here when mine was dropped off. There wasn't any damage to the crate on mine either. He made notes, took pics and called HP right away. Neither one of us had no clue anything was wrong until it was setup. I guess either way, it was replaced. I thought that was good that...
  6. HP L210 Delivered Damaged

Caldera has a separate driver for the L210
  7. HP L210 Delivered Damaged

When I got my L210, my first one was damaged too. We got it all setup and started it and noticed the top was all dented in. To the point that the carriage barely moved. So it even bent the rod the carriage moves on. They did the same with me. They wanted to replace it. It took a week or so for...
  8. Laminator Advice

I have had great luck with my US Tech. A 65" heated for under $5k? Can't go wrong for the price. The tech support isn't the best, but I haven't had any real problems either. You are just kinda on your own to figure it out. I would buy another one if I needed another laminator.
  9. Printing on Magnet Material

I don't know how I didn't see this one. I even commented in it. :banghead:
  10. Printing on Magnet Material

Has anyone ever printed on magnet material with their latex printers? Did it work? If so, what material and settings did you use?

  13. Bowing/ Smiling In Print l25500

The only vinyl I have NOT been able to use for cutting is the cheap 3M IJ10/11 series.
  14. Bowing/ Smiling In Print l25500

Yes, I use Caldera. You have to setup your cutter as a Summa Postnet. Then it will print with the bars. I use this and the barcode all of the time. Works awesome when you have back to back jobs as will move onto each job on the roll without any interaction. Let me know if you need a screenshot.
  15. Bowing/ Smiling In Print l25500

Yes sir! I use it everyday. Works great, at least on my S-140T it does. One of settings in the cutter for the OPOS settings is called "Force OPOS-XY". That is what I have it set to so that it will read the bar across the front every time.
  16. has anyone used this stuff before? good/bad

I like the Sihl heat transfer material. Works great in the latex printers too.
  17. Profiling a L26500

Would that be in the "transitions" stage?
  18. Profiling a L26500

Will do. I did get through to the part of actually making the profile, after scanning in all of the little squares. Then it tells me that there is too much difference between identical swatches to make the profile. So I am still stuck.
  19. Profiling a L26500

I got that to work. I am working through my first profile now. I am at the dynamic target print out. What would you recommend if it is laying down way too much ink? All of the other scans has nice smooth curves after the scans so far.
  20. Profiling a L26500

I bought mine through caldera, so I have the i1 software, but it's like a demo version. I am thinking of buying the i1 profile software sot hat I can use it to calibrate all of my other monitors, especially since my Spyder3 just crapped out. Mine is considered an oem model and I got the easy...
