+1 on that, I use Grimco for the same reasons. You can call your rep to directly answer your questions about materials and pricing. They will also send you small samples of products that you are interested in. Plus, they deliver to me every week as long as I order $100 worth which is not hard at...
So this is the laminate you used? http://www.grimco.com/Products.aspx?cid=44650&pid=00722 It doesn't mention anything about a synthetic liner so wanted to make sure this is it. Do you print it reversed or regular?
Hi, I'm in need of someone with experience in the sign business that can hit the ground running and get it done. Located in Des Moines, IA. Must be extremely detail oriented, weed, cut and trim vinyl and various signs. Installation skills would be a bonus. Looking for someone that could work...
What machine are you using? Is the black very rich and opaque? What thickness of lexan? I'd be interested in seeing some sample pics of what you've done.
Thanks
I have a client that's interested in having some films made for screen printing. He asked if I could print them on my HP latex. I have experience printing films on a mimaki for a company I worked for about 10 years ago and it worked great. What brand of material and settings would work on the...
They don't balk at any price so they are an excellent client to have. This will be my biggest job of the year so far. It can be a pain, but definitely worth it.
I would do that but some of these windows are massive. The largest one is 90"x452" and they want a clean looking appearance and something that will remove without leaving behind much adhesive. That's why the gray liner removable film is looking like the best choice for this one. Just not sure...
Interesting, I have not worked with Arlon before but have see their products at shows. I usually order through Grimco for most of my material. Where do you order Arlon film from?
Well me won't be doing window tint for this one. When we did, we ended up having to double up(2 layers) of the 5% to get it dark enough. They didn't want pure blackout film. They prefer the dry application method as well since it's in an art gallery. Plus, I'm on contract with them as their sole...
So I got a job to cover some extremely large windows in an art gallery with a removable block-out vinyl that will only be up for 3 months. They want it dark enough so that they can show a video exhibit. I did this a few years ago for them with a 5% window tint but they didn't think that was...
Looking for some custom metal sign brackets that would attach to a brick building and hold a sign or signs sized approx 20"x30". Have several new businesses going into a large new building and they all want custom blade/bracket signs. I have a metal fab guy I use sometimes but thought I'd try to...
Yeah, I don't know how it could last very long with all the water and mess from fishing in it. They want to wrap the boats as well and of course are running out of time for their first tournament coming up in a couple weeks. I think for now we're just doing the carpet graphics in the interest of...
I have a project coming up for a fishing tournament in Texas and they want their logos applied to the interior carpet of the their fishing boats. What type/brand of adhesive vinyl and laminate is recommended for this type of use? What's the average life expectancy of this type of vinyl?
Looking to buy the MacTac B-free frosted in the smaller 24" roll size. Fellers only has it in a 54" roll and won't slit it down. I need this for one job so I only want to get 10 or 20 yards in 24". Can anyone refer me to someone that could sell me this much? Thanks!
Great, that's what I was hoping! Hey Josh, are you still a distributor? I wasn't sure because the last time I tired calling you the number had changed.
