  2. Decorative sign frames-for elevators??

Hi, I'm looking for a sign frame that has a wood border or metal, something very clean and professional looking. Needs to hold 8.5"x11" paper prints that will be changed frequently. Something that can be stuck to the wall of an elevator with VHB tape. I need to find a single sign frame or one...
  3. Rent a space near competitor??

Yes, I did get it! Couldn't be more happy with it and the landlord is awesome. He already paid to have an electrician hook up the 220 outlets for my HP Latex. Now I just need to get all my stuff moved over there. I've already got several vehicles, boats, and rv's scheduled for graphics so it's...
  4. Rent a space near competitor??

I agree with everyone and yes I left there on good terms. I live in kind of a small city so I didn't want to step on any toes. Just being conscientious of others around me. In the end I gotta do what's best for me and my business to grow. Thanks for all the feedback, I'll let you know if I'm...
  5. Rent a space near competitor??

So I found the perfect property to rent for my sign business and the price is right as well. It's right off a very busy road so that's a plus too. The one and only thing holding me back is that it's less than half a mile from a competitor shop. I used to work for them over 10 years ago so I...

Looks like Arial Rounded is very close to it.
  7. Realtree camo patterns

I just ordered from these guys today. http://www.camo4u.com/ It's all on 3m comply and reasonably priced. They have about every pattern you would need.
  8. (2) HP L25500 60" Units for Sale!

Nate is legit, I bought my HP L25500 from him a year ago and had it sent from Salt Lake City to Des Moines, IA. Arrived in perfect shape and has been a great machine for me. I got a hell of a deal and I would recommend them to anyone. They bought several of these machines for running one huge...
  9. Latex printing on Reflective

What vinyl/heat settings do you use?
  10. Permanent 4'x10' sign installation-Advice please!

Thanks a ton for all the info. I called the company and they do have one for a 5'x10' sign. The only thing I can't find now is a 5'x10' sheet of brushed aluminum. I'm going to have another sign guy paint the white dibond silver for me.
  11. Permanent 4'x10' sign installation-Advice please!

Do you have a link to where I can see this system at? Also as far as the sign backing goes, is there a brushed aluminum material thicker than 3mm(other than dibond)? I need something 3/8" or thicker for this and probably going to use 2 to so I can have the letters bolted through securely. This...
  12. Permanent 4'x10' sign installation-Advice please!

I'm quoting this sign and my concern is the installation and what to use to secure the sign to be sturdy and permanent. The client said they can have the sign mounted to concrete if need be. I was thinking some kind of frame system to go around the whole sign and bolted to the concrete. Anyone...
  13. frosted hell.

Lol! Weasel **** works every time! How about Camel ****??? Sure you can install frosted dry but it's no where near the quality as applying it wet. Wetter is always better...that goes with a lot of things in life:thumb:
  14. HP L25500 major problems-HELP!

Yes, here's the video of it on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1qKSJHsP7Y&feature=youtu.be
  15. HP L25500 major problems-HELP!

I took off the old felt pads, cleaned and oiled them and also cleaned the roller grooves with an exacto. Man, that made a huge difference! I was amazed at how those 2 little pads can cause the machine to shake so damn much when there isn't any oil on them. There was plenty of oil on the rails...
  16. HP L25500 major problems-HELP!

Hey thanks for the advice, as soon as I get my new felt pads I'm going to replace them. I hope this does the job because like I said it sounds like the machine is totally falling apart! I'll post the results when I get it done.:thumb:
  17. HP L25500 major problems-HELP!

Did you replace all those parts yourself? My printer is going on 3 years old and I bought it used from a large format print company in Utah. They had some great deals on used machines.
  18. HP L25500 major problems-HELP!

So is the belt easy to replace yourself or is this something a tech should do? I ordered the felts but don't exactly know where those are at on the machine. If all this stuff is basic maintenance to replace then I'm all for saving $500 or $600 to have someone do it.
  19. HP L25500 major problems-HELP!

Much worse! I actually replied to that thread on the forum there. My machine sounds like it's going to explode or self destruct and I'm not exaggerating. I'll post a video soon.
  20. HP L25500 major problems-HELP!

First off, I don't have a service contract on my machine. I have the 42" model and I keep getting the "clean and lubricate rails" error. I have literally done this 6 times in a row and cleaned the shi* out of it. There's no dirt or anything and plenty of oil on the rails. What I think the real...
