  1. Question Printing on Paper?

Is there some compelling reason why the surface has to be paper? Why not just use vinyl?
  2. Question printed wooden close pins

Probably the same way you'd print on 5000 wooden clothespins.
  3. Font ID

    The script in this image?
  4. Question Ever use a Nail Gun for install?

Are you nailing bridge planking? I should think that 2" might be just a wee bit of overkill for 3mm material. And ring shanks? Really? Are you hanging a sign or turning the inside of the press box into an iron maiden? A few galvanized #10 ro #12 pan head sheet metal screws [no washers no...
  5. Question Ever use a Nail Gun for install?

If you can reach it with a nail gun you can reach it with a screw gun. If your nail gun isn't self-powered but needs an air compressor, the portable screw gun is a simpler choice. If you can nail it you can screw it. Either option will hold up the sign. Which one to use depends on your prejudices.
  6. Whats the font

    LHF Sarah Script
  7. Thoughts & Prayers

Imparting swimming and bailing skills would probably be more efficacious. The various gods are seldom, if ever, moved by supplications from mindless worshipers.
  8. Need Help Issues printing photos

Set the Rendering Intent for bitmaps to 'Perceptual' and send an RGB image. Do not send a CMYK image. Do this and it should pretty much be 'what you see is what you get'.

  10. Anyone here make house plaques?

I'm in need of a dimensional bronze-looking house plaque for a wedding present. I need it before September 16, the big day. I can live with a standard shape but I want to design the content. The plaques available on line []have pleasing shapes but the content is limited to a couple of lines of...
  11. Suggestions Logo opinion - WDRacing

Haters? Anyone who voices an opinion different from your own is a 'hater'? Anyone who doesn't particularly like something is a 'hater'? Current usage of the word 'hate' and it's various derivatives would appear the product of diseased liberal minds. You, sir or madam as the case may be, might...
  12. Suggestions Logo opinion - WDRacing

    Neither. Both are dreck.
  13. News Excavator templates

A photo with a horizontal and vertical scale is necessarily more accurate that a line drawing. The latter is merely a map while the former is the territory. I've been snapping pictures of things using a framing square taped to the subject for years. Any images and lettering I've made and...
  14. Clear coat for banners

Frog Juice? Seriously? The only thing I've found Frog Juice to be good for is sealing MDF panels so vinyl will stick to them. Only a sick twisted mind would put Frog Juice on a solvent print. Clear Shield, on the other hand, is just the thing for coating banners and anything else for that...
  15. Need Help Help-Can I use this logo?

It's your ride, you can do pretty much whatever you want to it. Including the Ferrari badges. Many years ago, probably back before you were born, thee was a red Fiat Spider running around San Jose CA with all of the Fiat badges replaced with Ferrari badges. Got a lot of looks but no black...
  16. L26500 Grey printing problem

Gray is one of the hardest things to print on a CMYK machine precisely because it's a CMYK machine. Whatever gray you're trying to hit is necessarily expressed in some particular combination these colors, only one of which being black. All of the buck coloristas adrift in these waters will all...
  17. Outdoor Sign: What do you think of this:

For creativity of that magnitude perhaps you should merely spray the old sign with rattle cans and use a good quality electrical tape to form the text.
  18. Looking for Ink cartridge information for mutoh

What he said. If you have to worry about ink costs you're not charging enough. Do you worry equally much over masking tape usage, knife blades, even application tape? If so then seek either a new career or professional guidance.
  19. Is this a font?

The first one is not likely a font unless it comes with a pair of lowercase 'i's. The second one looks suspiciously like the first,
  20. Suggestions anti slip tape for straight edge

I used a very thin piece of non-slip carpet pad, the kind used under small area rugs. I cur it into appropriate size strips ans stuck it on the backs of my 6' and 4' 2" wide drywall rulers using a couple of strips of banner tape. This was ~15 years ago and it's still there showing no signs of...
