  1. 2.5" external hard drives

If you get one, and think there is too much heat, you can always just set an ice cube on it, you know, to help keep it cool.:ROFLMAO:
  2. 2.5" external hard drives

I don't trust the aftermarket cases for hard drives. I'd rather just buy the whole thing brand new. I've had an hard drive go out...and I blame the case. Not enough heat desapation. I just got a seagate 2TB on ebay for $100. I've also been using a 500 gig seagate with no issues.
  3. Trouble gluing polymetal to mdo

The only way that I personally bond MDO and HDU is to put the MDO inside the HDU. I rout out the area where the MDO is going to go, and encase it in West System Epoxy. That way water won't get to the wood to cause any rot.
  4. Who can squeeze me in?

+1. I have gone to your site many times, and drooled over your work. You, Sir, are a master, and I really doubt that your going to be happy working for anyone else. Good Luck, and where ever you land, I know your going to do amazing things. I will say, though, if you end up on the east...
  5. Please keep my family in your prayers.

My dad called me yesterday afternoon and told me that my brother passed. He had been diagnosed with lung cancer, and was going through radiation and chemo. When I talked to him a couple of weeks ago, Pat was telling me that he was tired, but the cancer cells were shrinking, and the doctors...
  6. cutting 14" coro circles

know anyone with a router? I'd throw them up on mine and knock them out in about 15 min.
  7. Cutting with Corel/Ai

Yep, best way do to accomplish that. I do that to make weed lines between copy, only because Winplot doesn't have the option.
  8. Removing High Performance Vinyl

NO NO NO NO!!!!! The zapper (or vinyl eraser) is a great tool, but like most tools, it has its place. It is good for vehicles (with steel doors and body panels) as the paint doesn't do funny things. You cannot use it on alum panels, as it does heat the metal much faster, and that will cause...

  13. Need foam monument sign

I have had good luck with AWP (Great Walls of Carolina). Their site is www.awpwalls.com And they are in Myrtle Beach, SC.
  14. semi pricing

Yeah, your in the ball park. I assume that the strips wrap around the front and end into the grill, do they go all the way across the back of the cab? If they did, your too low. If they end around the curve, I'd be somewhere in that neighborhood.
  15. What Would You Charge?

+1...and not out in the open forums. Now, in the members sections, maybe...but at this point, My reply would be "as much as I could ask, without smiling!"
  16. How do I make a stencil?

Using a stencil vinyl, cut the image (since your using a Summa, you send it to WinPlot), and just weed what you want painted, apply just as you would with vinyl, paint, remove, done...couldn't much easier than that.
  17. Never doing that again.

And will want to know all about ICC profiles, color matching, etc.... I wouldn't sweat it. When they figure out that its a lot more work, the thing will end up sitting in the corner, and then will be put up for sale. I would worry more about them selling their printing for under market...
  18. corel users - importing pdf's

I've had issues with some pdf's, and knowing the source (local print house) I have figured that its coming from CS3 and up.
  19. The importance of contracts

That's great. That one is bookmarked.
  20. Telling a Client you would no longer like to work with them on Future projects

I would assume that you invoiced them for the "borrowed" material...If so, the I would talk to CEO / Owner / whoever is in charge and tell him that becasue his company has "borrowed" material, and didn't pay for it, that I am not interested in any work that they may need, unless it is paid for...
