  1. What software do you have to your cutter? I need to find a new one

You said in another post that you bought the plotter, vinyl, and other equipment as a bundle. Did the bundle include the computer with the drivers? If so, then it should be a plug and play, with a little tweaking... I currently use Corel, and the plotter came with a disk with the...
  2. Howdy! A nosy norwegian enters your world ;)

Welcome from Maryland. As far as cost...Is that $2120 in US dollars? If so, then thats not a bad price... I paid $2400 for my D-60 with the OPOS, shipped. Getting vinyl on top could be a nice bonus, depending on what brand.

  6. Font question...

I posted the following image up on What The Font.com and I got told that the font is Adobe Garamond Italic, and that brings the question up... I have Garamond Italic, and it's close, but not right... So is there really an Adobe font that is that much different? Thanks, Mark

  9. Fast Signs .com on Fox News

Yep... After I left Mississippi, I got a job at a signs now in atlanta, and all I gotta say is wow... The guy that "owned" it went to all the classes that they company gives you to learn to run it, and his wife tried to run the production part... They were clueless. I walked in knowing how to...
  10. IRENE..What a pain in the A__!

I'm a little more inland than you are, so I'm not really worried... Years ago, when working at a sign company in Mississippi, when storms came in, we would have to go in to pull panels from billboards...now that was a pita... By the way, if you want, I can keep an eye on your birds. My wife...
  11. Yellow page ad

That is pretty cool, but how do you make any money if the routers aren't moving, and there are mannequins behind the computers... :ROFLMAO:
  12. any idea where to get this old logo?

My brother in law called, and he is upgrading his rv, and the decals on it are peeling, and he called me to see if I can do it... The problem that I'm running into is the company is no longer in business. I have tried google, botw.com, and importing a logo that I found on google (in bmp...

  16. Need advice on routing wood...

Hey, guys, I need some advice on routing some wood... Very old oak, to be precise. I got a couple of pieces of wood that they cut down, and planed to thickness, and they told me that it is very hard... I'll be cutting a bevel into the material using a 120 degree bevel bit, and I have a couple...
  17. Wood letters-stock

Well, I have seen them in a craft store, but if you need something other than off the shelf, you really need someone with a router... Now the warning... The problem with wood shapes is they never seem to keep primer and paint on the edge, so they tend to flake, at least in my experience.
  18. what do you wear?

LOL, when I had long hair, I always kept it pulled back into a pony tail, with a nice pewter celtic knot hair tie. My hair is always clean, shiny, and well kept. Now that I'm mostly gray, at my wife's instance, I keep it cut short. As far as dress, I wear a nice pair of jeans and a polo...
  19. Problem with 24" vinyl express panther cutter.

I would think the vinyl is not feeding right. I know on my Summa, when I cut heat transfer film, it doesn't track through the machine, so I take a 15" core, and hang from the front.
  20. I need some old Machines!!

I have an old roland camm1 plotter (48") that powers on, but I can't get it to communicate with the computer... Drove me nuts till I just dropped the money for a summa.
