No subdued image in the background. Simple logo and name of service/co. Sometimes the name doesn't tell what you do and we've had clients who didn't understand what we meant. Phone number/email/address if you insist on a lot of text then consider a double-sided card.
Might consider creating a profile with WhatTheFont. You can help them get better results by uploading images and suggesting fonts that you found that matched but their system didn't.
Just food for thought.
I agree. We purchased a printer bundled with Flexi but only use it for the Program Manager. The setup makes a Hot folder that our Corel users connect to from their respective workstations and just export pdf, eps, or tiff files to.
We use a seperate pc as a RIP/cut station. Designers just drop the files to a "hot folder" from their respective pc's and the print tech can keep "the presses" running without interruption. Best way to go imo
In Corel I'd duplicate the text three times and distribute them offset accordingly then use the middle one to trim the bottom. Select the middle then shift select the bottom and choose trim on the top menu then go back and delete the middle one
The term "vector image" is an oxymoron. It's either vector graphics or an image as in "raster"
