  1. I45 signs rock

I'm lucky enough to have them just a few miles down I-45 from me. Going by there this afternoon to pick up some signs actually! I would recommend I-45 to anyone. Their UV prints cannot be beat.
  2. More Recent Wraps...

Here's a fun little "before and after"... but they're not the same vehicle. The "before" got wrecked so we sold them on creating the "after".
  3. More Recent Wraps...

More of the Haynie. We even wrapped the Power Pole!
  4. More Recent Wraps...

Here's a tournament bay boat we just finished. Was a plain hull when I got it. Completely rigged out by Custom Marine Concepts.
  5. Project: 700hp Matte Black SC300

As usual Lindy... you're the man!
  6. help with logo

Dorton, I appreciate what you're trying to do. Before you get torn to shreds any further, you need to realize that this is a forum for professional sign makers, printers and graphic designers. It's not a place for hobbyists to come and get freebies. The very idea that you are asking for us all...

  8. How To... Need Ideas

Jester and RJ, I'm interested in those ideas. Any chance you have a specific product in mind? Can you point me in the right direction to find it?
  9. How To... Need Ideas

I am working on a layout for a customized 35' trailer. The trailer (and wrap) are going to be shared among 3 different companies... a home builder and two manufacturers of home building products. The 3 companies have an obvious common thread, so the design is pretty cut and dry. However, they...
  10. SP-540V what profile should I use for Canvas material?

Sorry I don't have an answer... but I'm curious, what canvas material are you using? Does anyone have any experience printing on this type of material with a VP540 (or similar)? How were the results? Keep us posted Riskok.
  11. Wrap Certification

If you think those certifications are anything more than another revenue stream for the company offering the "certification" you are kidding yourself. It's a genius low overhead source of revenue targeted directly at the rapidly growing population of newbies who don't know the first thing about...
  12. Wrap Certification

Not only is it meaningless to our customers, it is meaningless to me. I know one guy with a 3M certification who can't wrap a car to save his life. He paid his money, took a class and got a cute little certificate to hang on his wall. On the other hand, I know at least 5 installers in the...

  16. roland sp540

Here's another one. Just search for "cross contamination". I'm sure there's more out there to read. http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54331&highlight=cross+contamination
  17. roland sp540

Here's a thread that covers the cross-contamination issue. But it seems that a good, thorough cleaning is still the best 1st line of attack. You don't have a syringe (without a needle) handy do you? http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39433
  18. roland sp540

unscrew the plastic panel below the capping station... below the control panel. When I finish printing, I'll take a picture for you. I'm sure the SP540 is pretty much the same as the VP540. As for the mixed up colors... I don't know. Looks like cross contamination some how. I can't really...
  19. New computer

I think you mean Windows 7 64-bit... just be sure you have 64-bit applications to make it worth your while.
  20. roland sp540

You can't just fill the capping station with cleaning solution on that printer. It will just drain right out to the waste bottle. Read the part highlighted in red below to soak your heads properly. You also need to make sure the gaskets around the head caps are in good shape. If there is not...
