    Could be a few file related thing. Fills, masks, transparencies, cmyk bitmaps etc. can cause the rip to fail or hang. Rasterize and flatten everything to simplify the file.

    Mine just lay flat on the tables. The only curling was when I opened them up after shipping and that went away in a few days.

    Raster grayscale image background with vector red text headline on top. Shouldn't be a problem if your rendering intents are set correct in the rip.

    Omega, SignLab and Flexi will print to the Edge. Yes you need to rip your files and will need a sprocket fed plotter to contour cut.

    Inkjet printers and laminators go hand in hand. I wouldn't invest in one without the other if your making exterior signs and decals. Maybe you should look at the Summa line of thermal printers. Print & cut from one machine without the need for lamination. They come in 30in. and 54in. The Edge...
