i1s really aren't that expensive and well worth the cost once.
Once you have reliable profiles and tools for recalibration you won't look back.

Those nylon anchors. Drill the hole, push the plastic part in then hammer in the pin.
Ramset brand are best with the phillips screw head. They are easy to remove.
Cheaper ones not so much.

We just did 150 d/s A0s for a campaign.
I didn't trust the 360s so did them all on our flatbed which worked but was a lot of trouble.
Just letting a rollfeed printer run would be way preferable.
I used DTP41s for many years.
They are or were good quality spectros which make accurate profiles.
They ideally should be sent to Xrite for recalibration every so often.
Their only real drawback is lack of ability to scan a spot colour or profile rigid boards.
