Have you tested the fc9000? It’s spot on for me. I can do 150’ without it losing track of where it is. Can’t compare it to summa since I don’t have one with a take up... But I can't imagine it getting better than this. No complaints about the accuracy of the new graphtec.

Most laminators (If not all) have an eye to prevent peoples fingers from going into the front. I dont know of any that have one in the back... I know at least on our seal theres a gap between the roller and the metal that a finger could slip into. I'd say working from the back is worst! Small...

Seal uses a plastic core - Our machine is pretty old, and the inside of the core is getting worn... its been on my to due list to replace it, I'm hoping I can find one that works. Now I have a layer of tape on the inside to keep it tight... it works but eventually wears out, pain in the ass...

We have a few of these - I have one thats 2 wide 10 long for overlam, 2 wide 5 long for "finished / printed ready to vinyl", and 2 racks that are more vertical and holds 15-20 rolls each...cant find photos of the rest though. Pretty much everything is on wheels!

For me.. When switching from one printer to the other, if you have a lot of stuff in holding it'll crash onyx. Onyx is pretty glitchy when running multiple printers.... Which sucks because it's a nice rip. What version are you running? Onyx 19 comes with printer isolation.... So each...

The FC9000 has a barcode reader. It doesnt matter which way you put the roll in, it'll auto read and cut in the right direction... one of the main reasons I love the 9000. And since it rolls itself up... all you have to do is switch the empty spindle with the full one, its pretty convenient...

Is this just for substrates? Buy a manual laminator for $150 and you'll lose 99% of your bubbles. If you're hand applying with non air egress vinyl.... You'll likely always get bubbles. Look into a big squeegee or a manual laminator

Buy one from your supplier. All you have to do is unscrew the bar holding the arms in and add it... They say you need a tech because you have to unscrew something, but it's user installable for sure.
